The Crew: A team of four arrived on time and ready to work. Their synergy was impressive—everyone knew their role, and they moved like a well-oiled machine. Technical Skill: Watching them scale the trees was incredible. They laid them down with precision, ensuring the entire process was handled fast and safely. Professionalism & Adaptability: Jake, the owner, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. What really stood out was his flexibility; I had a last-minute change on the day of the job, and he adapted without hesitation. Efficiency: They don’t waste a second. They got the job done much quicker than I anticipated without cutting a single corner. It’s rare to find a business that checks every box, but Jake and his team nailed it. 5 out of 5 starsWe had to remove a huge double trunk Red Oak that was leaning over part of the house, this past weekend. The owner, Mike, and his team lead, Ryan, came out with their amazing crew, and worked through the process seamlessly. Ryan went up in the bucket to cut off the branches and worked his way down, until he could, drop each trunk in the exact spot they should fall so they didn't damage anything in the yard. They ground the stump and smoothed over the creater, put all the branches through the chipper, and hauled away the large pieces. They even used a blower to clean up the smaller pieces and sawdust. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get everything done. A job like ours requires expert coordination and technique to avoid damaging property and keeping everyone safe. They are obviously skilled and experienced because everything went so smoothly. They have all the proper equipment to get the job done right. Everyone on the crew was polite and friendly. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the job they did, and we will always rely on them for our future tree projects. We highly recommend this company. See more See less

Jake Coordinated with me as the homeowner “at risk” from lethal sized limbs falling, and with Town that took responsibility for getting trees removed, as the trees were not on my property. The job was completed earlier than promised. On the day the work was scheduled they Arrived on time, with exc crew and ideal equipment to remove 3 large - and very dangerous - trees safely and quickly. They had to work in a tight space, over fences and past other trees, without damaging live trees, playground equipment, or other property. 5 out of 5 starsI had 2 maple trees in my backyard that needed trimming/pruning. After sending a request for an estimate online with Darbie's Tree Service, Jake Darbie was quick to respond. He asked pertinent questions, and the estimate was sent quickly with fair pricing. I was booked within that same week. My neighborhood is very narrow, but Jake and his crew were able to easily maneuver the trucks/equipment. Before working, Jake once again went over where he suggested the trimming be done. He was very knowledgeable in where to cut to prevent the tree from dying. They worked quickly and efficiently and hauled everything away. Jake also made sure that I was happy with the final result. 5 out of 5 starsDarbie’s Tree Service was highly recommended to me by a very trusted source. In the past, I’ve seen a rather large difference in costs for Tree Removal Services that left me puzzled by what I was about to myself get into, including the outcome and $$$ . After the site visit and discussion with Jake, and the price being very reasonable, I did not need to look elsewhere, and went with Darbie’s Tree Service, and that was proven to be a wise choice. Jake is dependable and trustworthy; he offers expert advice and good sound recommendations. Communication is great, and at each phase of the work, he engages with you to make sure the job is done right for you. He goes to the extra yard making sure you are satisfied. Jake runs the crew, a very good crew at that, using the must up to date tree removal equipment out there. Jake uses a Boom Truck that uses a grapple saw, a set of tongs on a retractable boom that holds a tree in place, all while making cuts remotely from the ground. All with the capability to grab, cut and feed branches into a chipper or load larger tree pieces or take down entire trees safely to the ground with less cleanup and reduce any property damage. I had two very large trees close to my house and overhead utility lines, but they were no obstacle to this job. You have to see it to believe it ……. We were entertained with the whole operation, from the equipment, and a crew engaging in such a seamless operation and a great job at that. It is a safe and efficient operation and saves time, reducing the cost for the customer, for which I can attest to that. One very large tree in a tight spot in the backyard near the house, a few trees out front beside the house and several additional stumps and they left the yard looking just as clean as before they showed up. He arrived Monday morning approx 8 am and was finished by 10 am. Cut the tree down, removed all the debris including the stump and was gone. They removed four large trees that were close to my house and had been damaged from the winter and ice—I didn’t want to deal with ongoing storm cleanup, so we decided to just take them out completely. The crew was professional, polite, kind, and courteous throughout the entire process. Everything was handled safely and efficiently, and scheduling was easy from start to finish.
